Choose the work you can prove
Describe a project decision you owned: resolving a dependency, managing a risk, coordinating delivery or recovering a milestone. Explain the trade-offs and the result with enough context to show the scale of your contribution. Use the vacancy’s requirements to decide which example belongs in the application.
Project support experience can be useful when you show how your research, records or follow-up helped a team act. For a delivery or program leadership role, make your authority, stakeholders and responsibilities clear. Check professional qualifications and any other essential conditions before investing time in the written response.
Build a specific application example
“I prepared project reports” tells the reader what you did, but leaves the value of the work unclear. Build the example around an actual delivery problem: a late supplier input, an unclear dependency or a milestone slipping. Explain what you checked, how you brought the issue to the right people, the decision that followed and the result you can substantiate.
A delivery manager should make the scope, budget, risk and decision visible. A project support officer can show the records, research or coordination that helped the team act sooner. Give each targeted answer its own relevant example and follow the advertised word or page limit.
