Current NSW Government ICT and Digital Jobs

NSW Government Developer and ICT Technical Roles To Consider This Week - Team 3Thirty
In this guide

Last updated: 26 August 2026

The current ICT shortlist covers several very different kinds of technical responsibility. Transport for NSW is hiring across cyber uplift, regulatory architecture, business intelligence and road technology, while eHealth NSW needs a Senior Product Owner and Parliament of NSW is recruiting a Solution Architect for applications and data.

The titles sit under one technical umbrella, but the applications call for different evidence. A cyber role needs clear judgement about risk and controls. Product ownership depends on decisions about user needs, priorities and delivery. Architecture and engineering roles need examples that show how a technical choice held up in a complex operating environment.

All seven roles were open when checked on 26 August 2026. Use the cards below to compare the work, application task and closing date, then open the individual Application Checklist before you start writing.

Key message: If you want Team 3Thirty involved across your wider job search, you can join the three-month AutoPilot waitlist for updates.

Choose the technical problem you can prove you have solved

Start with the work behind the title. The Senior Analyst Cyber Security role is close to operational assurance and risk, while the cyber capability uplift role asks for leadership across a broader improvement agenda. The two solution architecture roles need people who can make defensible design decisions and influence delivery teams. The Senior Product Owner role is the strongest fit for someone whose evidence sits in priorities, user outcomes and product direction.

The Business Intelligence Developer and Systems Engineer roles are closer to hands-on delivery. Their strongest applications will show what was built or improved, how performance and reliability were protected, and how technical work supported the people using the service.

Turn technical work into evidence a mixed panel can assess

A list of platforms or certifications gives context, but the example still needs a decision and a result. Take a recent system, product or cyber problem and explain the operating risk, the options you considered, the people affected, the action you led and what changed after implementation.

For example, a cloud or integration change becomes stronger evidence when you explain why the old approach was failing, how you assessed security and service-continuity risks, and what improved for users or the delivery team. Keep the technical detail that proves your level, then make the consequence clear in plain English.
