10 current NSW Government recruitment campaigns with multiple vacancies
In this guide

Each role in this shortlist is recruiting for more than one current position. The vacancy details confirm the hiring need through a stated count or clear wording about multiple advertised roles. Generic lines about possible future talent pools were excluded from the selection.

The campaigns range from two senior project positions with Homes NSW to two land acquisitions project roles with the National Parks and Wildlife Service. Graduate applicants have substantial intakes to consider as well, including 16 physiotherapy positions across South Western Sydney Local Health District and eight Graduate Valuer roles across NSW. Closing dates run from Monday 31 August to Tuesday 6 October 2026.

Use the list to compare the work, eligibility conditions and application effort before you start writing. The Principal Project Officer and Family Preservation Project Officer campaigns close first and need strong project evidence. The Associate Economist, New Graduate Physiotherapist and Graduate Valuer campaigns have specific graduate eligibility and assessment steps.

Every role links to its full Application Checklist and the official vacancy. Check the closing date and application portal again before submitting because agencies can amend a live recruitment campaign.

How To Use This Multiple-Vacancy Shortlist

A campaign with several current positions gives the panel more seats to fill, while every applicant still needs to meet the same standard. Start with the roles where your existing examples are closest to the actual work. A clear match between your evidence and the vacancy will save time and make the application easier for the panel to assess.

Several campaigns contain distinct positions under one advertisement. The two Principal Project Officer roles split between contract and program delivery responsibilities, while the three Assistant Development Manager positions cover different housing portfolios. Read those differences carefully and make your preferred fit clear when the application process allows it.

Compare The Work And The Application Task

The project campaigns differ in scale and subject matter. Homes NSW needs capital program, contract and housing delivery experience. The Family Preservation campaign is closer to program design, implementation support and governance, while the Senior Program Coordinator roles centre on grant-funded projects with Aboriginal communities.

Applicants with analytical or property experience can compare the Business Intelligence Analyst campaign with the Land Acquisitions Project Officer roles. One focuses on Power BI, data modelling and the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme. The other covers land tenure, cadastral matters, property due diligence and coordination with consultants and legal representatives.

The graduate campaigns also ask for different proof. Treasury wants a concise resume, academic transcript and pre-screening responses. The physiotherapy intake uses academic results and published selection criteria, while Graduate Valuer applicants need Australian Property Institute membership status and an eligible valuation qualification.

Build Evidence You Can Adapt Across Applications

Choose examples that show a complete piece of work. A duty statement such as “prepared project reports and attended stakeholder meetings” gives the panel very little to assess. A stronger example explains the delivery problem, the information you analysed, the people whose agreement you needed, the action you took and the result for the project or service.

Record the details once, including the scale, timeframe, risks, stakeholders and measurable outcome. Then change the emphasis for each role. A housing project application may foreground contract controls and community outcomes, while a business operations application can use the same project to show accurate reporting, process improvement and advice to staff.
