Weekly Shortlist: Nine New Opportunities in Corporate Jobs in Government

Each week, we scan the iWorkForNSW board and pull together the roles that are genuinely worth your time. This edition focuses on corporate jobs in government. These are roles where people from the private sector often transition well, especially across HR, ICT, safety, marketing and communications, and where you can start building a government career without taking a pay cut.

If you are coming from a corporate role and looking for government jobs in Sydney or across NSW that offer flexibility, hybrid working and work that actually makes a difference, the roles below are a strong place to start. They span HR leadership, safety, application services, operations and marketing. If you are new to the NSW public sector, we have also put together practical guides on writing a strong government cover letter, how the NSW recruitment process works and how talent pools work.

And if you would rather not navigate the application process on your own, our Write It For Me service helps you turn your experience into a clear, panel-ready application for NSW Government roles.
