Introduction
The Advisor Engagement at Revenue NSW supports the Land Tax Stakeholder Management and Engagement team. Its work includes education events and forums, communication materials and responses to stakeholder enquiries. You will work with subject matter experts to make information useful for industries and communities.
The application requires a resume and a brief cover letter of no more than two pages. A useful example can show how you prepared content for an audience, presented it clearly and responded to questions. Explain how feedback or an emerging issue shaped the engagement that followed.
Use the letter to explain how you planned an event or engagement activity and handled its practical delivery. Several Revenue NSW office locations are available, subject to the employer’s arrangements, while events can require regional travel and work outside standard hours. Check the licence and physical event-work requirements before preparing the application.

| Cover letter section | What to include |
|---|---|
| Opening | Connect your engagement experience to Revenue NSW’s land tax stakeholder education work. |
| Education or presentation | Describe the audience, subject and content you prepared with relevant experts. |
| Stakeholder response | Explain the questions or issue you handled and how you maintained a useful working relationship. |
| Insights and delivery | Show how feedback influenced the next step and how you coordinated the work. |
| Conditions and closing | Confirm the licence and travel requirements and state the qualification or equivalent-experience pathway you meet. |
What the panel will want to see in your examples
- An audience-specific presentation or education example.
- Accurate content developed with subject matter experts.
- A professional response to stakeholder questions or escalations.
- Feedback used to improve an engagement approach.

Keep the cover letter within two pages and check the resume instructions in the form. Confirm the office location and the Class C licence, travel and event-work conditions. Ensure any tax or property knowledge is described accurately, then submit before 11:59pm on Thursday 22 October.
