What to highlight
Connect project controls with practical outcomes
A useful example follows a project through scope, planning, delivery and review. Identify the risk or operational problem, show what you owned and explain how you monitored progress. Give enough detail for the panel to understand a decision you made and the outcome it produced.
Show how you used information and relationships
Describe a time you brought together competing stakeholder needs or translated analysis into advice for an executive. Explain the tools you used, why they suited the task and how you checked the quality of the information. Include Microsoft Project or other relevant software only where it reflects your actual experience.
Application structure
Answer each prompt separately. Start with a direct statement about the relevant experience, then use a specific example with context, your responsibility, the actions you took and the result. Give the most space to your decisions and actions. The same project can support more than one response when each answer explains a different part of your work.
NSW Health Pathology asks applicants to speak from their own experience and warns that applications may not progress where responses do not demonstrate capabilities without AI assistance. Write these responses yourself, using this checklist to organise your evidence and check coverage.
Before you submit
You need valid Australian working rights for the appointment and must meet NSW Health vaccination and screening requirements. The preferred applicant may need a functional assessment. Relevant qualifications or extensive project-support experience should be addressed in the first response.
Check every requested document and response against the application instructions. Make your personal contribution clear, remove unsupported claims and leave time for a final proofread before 21 September 2026 at 11:59 pm AEST. Return to the official job ad when you are ready to apply.
